Carrion Rosa, Deliris Carrion Rosa Deliris

Deliris coordinates the Christian education program at the Baptist School in San Salvador and serves as a chaplain at the school. She helps parents to develop better parenting skills, develops Christian education workshops with churches, and also ministers through teaching, preaching, and developing spiritual retreats in schools and churches.

Deliris feels strongly about Christian education connecting faith and knowledge. She says, "There is an intimate connection between faith and knowledge. On the one hand, faith without knowledge is blind. We need knowledge in order to understand and embrace the depths and values of the Christian faith. On the other hand, knowledge without faith is impossible because we must begin our thinking on the basis of something we take for granted: the existence of God and the mystery of God's incarnation in the person of Jesus Christ."
