Bonilla, Carlos and Mayra Bonilla Carlos and Mayra

Carlos Bonilla and Mayra Giovanetti are professors-at-large for the churches of the Convencion de Iglesias Bautistas de la Mision Chilena, and for their Instituto Teologico Bautista. Their ministry includes preaching and holding workshops for lay leaders in the churches. Carlos is designing workbooks and materials for leadership training. Mayra continues to be involved in health education for breastfeeding mothers with young children.

They continue to provide support in church planting and have been involved in the construction project of their Chilean home church in San Carlos. Working with their partners in ministry, Carlos and Mayra help train and equip the pastoral leadership and lay people for evangelism, discipleship, and church growth with unlimited outreach possibilities.

The Bonilla-Giovanetti family is preparing to travel as a family to visit churches in different States throughout the US/PR this fall, as they reach mid-term goals of their second term to Chile, full of friendship and adventures. Many continue to be part of those adventures through The A Family Team and Network (MPT) updates sent regularly and participating in mission trips they host in Chile.

Carlos and Mayra seek to show others God’s love and mercy, as a reality. They consider it a wonderful privilege to be able to serve God and to practice what the Lord placed in their hearts a long time ago: “To correctly teach the message of God’s truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).
